Pornhub Controversy

Back in December of 2020, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, pulled its payment platform from Pornhub. This was the result of a New York Times piece that accused Pornhub of allowing child abuse content. Visa's investigation remains ongoing. 

"This news is crushing for the hundreds of thousands of models who rely on our platform for their livelihoods," Pornhub said in a statement.

While Pornhub denies the allegations, the controversy has served to bruise the brand's name.
